The Flashbulb is a an electronic experimental artist coming out of Chicago. He’s been releasing thematically diverse albums since 2001. This diversity is not the only reason I chose to spotlight him. Sure, diversity is my soft spot when done well, but this artist’s music was introduced to me countless ages ago when it sounded completely different than his latest offering, Love As A Dark Hallway. Indie Artist Spotlight #1: Hanzelle

Hanzelle is an electrochamber post-pop band from the Nashville, TN area.

I first listened to their latest single (July 2011) BODY ROCK/GHOST and found it to be rather enjoyable. It’s less chamber and more electro. It’s as if Kraftwerk decided to be a rock band. Continue reading
