Constructive comments that add to the conversation are welcome here. Comments that don’t add to the conversation are not welcome and will be deleted. The Akismet plugin is used to identify spam, and if your comment is identified as spam, it will likely be deleted. If your post gets past Akismet, it will still be subject to administrator approval.

No comments are edited once posted. Each comment is either approved or deleted as-is. If you aren’t on topic, your comment will be deleted. If you are on topic, you still need to be polite. If you have something negative to say, if it’s said in a constructive manner and is on topic, it will likely be approved. If you say something negative in a condescending, demeaning, or spiteful way, your comment will be deleted.

In other words, be nice, be on topic, and expect to wait for your comment to show up until approved by an administrator. Once you have posted an approved post, the approval process will ease up, but you can still expect your comment to need approval if it contains more than one link. The intent is to keep this site free of brain-deadening spam.
